The Union Pacific Depot served as Salt Lake City's railroad transportation center from 1909 though the 1970's and still retains the historical charm of the early 20th century. The most impressive room, the Grand Hall, features a domed ceiling rising three stories above the central waiting area.
There are two oil-on-canvas mural paintings by San Francisco artist John McQuarrie depicting great moments in Utah's history. Beautiful stained glass windows on the west wall feature a series of various kinds of rail transportation. All of the magnificent artwork remains today.
One of the outstanding architectural structures in Utah, the historical renovated and restored Union Pacific Depot will provide the perfect venue for your most special event.
