Directions
Getting Here from Wherever You Are
From the Salt Lake City International Airport: Use Interstate 80 (I-80) East from the airport and proceed to City Center. Exit on North Temple, proceed approximately 3 miles to 400 West. Turn right on 400 West. The Gateway parking will be available on the west side of the street in two garages and a surface lot accessible from 50 North.
From Northern Utah and Idaho: Use Interstate 15 (I-15) South to the 600 North exit. Proceed to 400 West and turn right. Proceed 4 blocks, The Gateway parking will be available on the west side of the street.
From Southern Utah: Use Interstate 15 (I-15) North to the 600 South exit. Turn left on 400 West. Proceed 4 blocks, The Gateway parking will be available on the west side of the street.
From Park City and Eastern Utah: Use Interstate 80 (I-80) West to Interstate 15 (I-15) North. Travel on Interstate 15 (I-15) North to 600 South exit. Turn left on 400 West. Proceed 4 blocks, The Gateway parking will be available on the west side of the street.
From Western Utah: Use Interstate 80 (I-80) East and exit on North Temple/City Center downtown access. Exit on 400 West, The Gateway parking will be available on the west side of the street.
Public Transit
TRAX: All stops near The Gateway are in the “Free Fare Zone” and $1.75 in all other zones. Take Route 701 or Route 702 “University Line” to the ARENA Stop or Planetarium Stop.
FrontRunner: Fare - $2.50 base fare, $.50 for each additional station (maximum fare from Ogden to Salt Lake City is $5). Stop at Salt Lake City Central Station and take TRAX Route 701 or Route 702 “University Line” to the Planetarium Stop, or ARENA Stop. These TRAX stops are in the “Free Fare Zone.”

Parking
The Gateway offers your first hour of parking FREE.
Parking is always FREE on Sundays!
Free Parking: Remember to get validations with you purchases. Most stores provide one hour validations for your shopping purchases (excluding Fast Food and Specialty Food Stores). The Megaplex 12 at The Gateway offers up to 3 hours free for $1 with a Theater Validation.
Easy Access: Self-parking is conveniently located in the Summer and Winter Parking Garages, accessible from 200 South and 100 South. Parking is also available on the Surface Lot just north of South Temple and the parking garage off 500 West behind Old Navy.
Valet Parking: Valet Parking is offered every evening, except Sunday after 4:30 pm, off 400 West in front of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and next to the Union Pacific Depot. Valet Parking is also available every Friday and Saturday evening after 4:30 pm in front of Z’Tejas, on Rio Grande Street.

- Over 4 Hours $7.00
Parking Buses: If you are bringing a bus down to The Gateway and wonder where to park, call the parking office (456-7275) and they will make arrangements. If your bus is going to the Planetarium, please call the Planetarium (456-STAR) to make arrangements.
